Explain the concept behind Smart Predict in SAP SAC?

Ans: Smart Predict is a feature which is used by SAC users for performing predictive analytics use cases. It did not require any use of machine learning algo’s for performing the same. It itself uses the machine learning algo’s and analyze the datasets while generating correct predictions to help driving business decisions. 

Three type of predictions could be done which includes classification for predicting categorical outcome, Regression which predict numerical outcome and Time Series Forecasting which predict future values based on historical data.

Smart Predict is actually smart because it is very user friendly and there is no need to write any kind of code for using it.  Using this feature, the power of predictive analysis can be used and future trends can be seen, by which informed decisions can be made easily.

What Are the Possible Integration Capabilities of SAP SAC With Other Systems?

Ans: SAC offers various integration possibilities with various different systems, which helps users to visualize the data, import & analyze the data easily.

SAP System Integration can be easily done with SAP HANA (for real time data analysis), SAP S/4HANA (for operational analysis), SAP BW/HANA (for advanced reporting) & SAP BO (for combined capabilities).

For Cloud data sources, the integration can be easily done with multiple sources such as Salesforce, azure, amazon Redshift or big query by google.

Easy integration with on premise sources can also be done easily such as SQL databases, file uploads etc.

Various third party integrations also includes sources such as sap data intelligence, rest api’s and odata services. Live data connections can also be setup which includes live data models & direct query.

Ans: Analytical features in SAP SAC offers the users, the capabilities  to visualize the data, analyze the data & share the insights with others, in the form of data only.

It offers various features which includes: Data Visualization & Exploration which includes interactive dashboards, geo maps & storytelling.

Other analytical features include smart discovery, smart insignt & predictive analyticss. Planning & Forecasting is other analytical feature which consists of what-if analysis, driver based planning & integrated planning. 

We can add comments & easy sharing & publishing is available.

It also have the dashboard accesses to mobile.

Data connectivity & integration is also available. It consists of processes such as data blending, data wrangling & live data connections.

Ans: SAP SAC is being hosted by SAP only.  Primary hostings includes: SAP Data Centres which offers high security, availability & managing regulations and standards.

SAC can also be hosted on public platforms such Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google cloud platform. SAC is integrated with SAP Cloud Platform and integrate with other SAP Cloud services & applications.

These are few hosting options available for flexibility & existing cloud strategies.

What is the Use of Drivers in Sap Sac? Explain Different Kind of Drivers in SAC?

Ans: Drivers’ are the factors which influence the multiple outcomes for various planning & predictive scenarios.  They are helpful in understanding the impacts of the factors which are based on the business metrics. 

Different kind of drivers are:

  • Assumption Drivers includes revenue or cost drivers which based on factors like price, volume or market growth. It also involves labor cost or raw material cost.
  • Operational Drivers which based on sales volume, production capacity and production factors which include machine hours, labor availability and shoft patterns.
  • Financial Drivers which influence financial planning, borrowing costs, exchange rates and interest rates. 
  • Economic Drivers which impact the GDP growth rate and inflation rate.
  • Customer Behavior Drivers which based on churn rate which is used to forecast customer retention & customer acquisition rate.
