1. What are The Different Type of USERS Available in SAP?
Ans: There are five kind of users in SAP such as:
- Communication User: The password for these kind of users are valid for certain time period. Additionally, Used of the dialog free communication between multiple systems.
- Reference User: This kind of user doesn’t have any task to do. For instance, They are used to assign additional authorizations to the users.
- Service User: If any message has to be received by any user such as status message or to a group of users for their access, then this service user is being created. They are not meant for individual login.
- Dialog User: It is used for all type of logon types on individual basis. SAP GUI logon can be done using this user type.
- System User: These non interactive user type are used for internal communication within systems. These end users cannot change their passwords.
2. In Which Directory does all the Transport Data Files are Stored in SA BASIS?
Ans: It is stored in standard directory for cofiles in SAP -/usr/sap/trans/cofiles/K<number>.SID.
3. What are SAP IDES?
Ans: SAP IDES is Internet Demonstration and Evaluation System and is used mainly for training and testing purpose andIt is used to show the functionalities of various new and old SAP Solutions to potential customer and business.
Also, Through IDES we can give demos, functional tests, multiple evaluations, self study etc. But we need to make sure that these IDES should not be used in the Production System.
4. Can We Assign an Object with 100 Roles at a Time?
Ans: Through SE16 Tcode, we can be able to add an object to 100 roles at a time. In SE16 Tcode, we can go to the table AGR_AGRS Table which is a ABAP Role Management & Authorization table in SAP. Although It is also store the roles in composite form of data.
Additionally, Using access key, you can be able to go inside the table editor. Then, we need to add the object that need to be assigned to 100 roles. Activate the option after selecting the range of roles.
5. Which Table Can be Used for SAP User Login Data?
Ans: Basically USR02 is the table in SAP, Which is used to store Logon Data which is Kernel side based.
